TUSANI™ OmniSTAR® Wearable Decimeter DGPS system. 10cm Horizontal - 20cm Vertical. The MICRONICS TUSANI™ OmniSTAR is the latest DGPS technology applied for Mobile Mapping. The Wearable DGPS Safety Vest is the next generation precision GPS, for decimeter surveying such as drainage applications, complies with City and Shire Councils requirements to be highly visible for safety whilst collecting council data thus satisfying insurance requirements. The Wearable DGPS is extremely light and comfortable to carry is less than 1.2Kg including Batteries, integrated Demodulator /GPS and antenna pole. With the TUSANI™ Wearable comes a new innovation PDA 2007S PREDATOR (or Rugged Tablet) that is completely sunlight readable and is fully protected in a case designed for harsh environments. Using the same high precision TUSANI Trimble/NovAtel GPS engine the backpack has been designed for clients who need to carry extra tools and sample bags with their GPS. Because of TUSANI's flat profile design there is a huge carrying capacity. A special cushioned plate contours to your backbone and as more weight is added the load taken by your hips (not your shoulders) to reduce back and shoulder strain for long days in the field. The Curdies River Series was borne from a Mining project to carry a Magnetometer, GPS and extra batteries. Of course an internal pocket is standard to carry a first Aid kit or satphone and manuals.
